Jacqui Ferris has over 20 years experience working with executives in both an Executive Search and Career Coaching capacity. She has consulted to and managed relationships for many leading global and local organisations in the area of coaching, outplacement, search and selection and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO). Companies include: Audrey Page & Associates (and clients), Perpetual, AMP, Citigroup, Challenger, CBA, Westpac, ANZ, ABN Amro and many others. As well as coaching corporate executives, Jacqui also works with SME’s, partnership firms, individuals and Not for Profit organisations across the philanthropic sector. Jacqui began her career in Performing Arts, where she studied classical dance, drama and singing. She developed, ran, and then sold a successful private dance academy, which enabled her to fund her way into one of the UK’s leading Performing Arts schools. She graduated with a Bachelor in Performing Arts, including an Advanced standing from the Royal Academy of Dance London (ARAD). She then went on to dance professionally and teach in vocational dance schools throughout the UK, Europe and New Zealand. Jacqui’s international dance career taught her three key things: to have an unwavering commitment to yourself and your goals, the importance of discipline and focus, and that talent will only take you so far. These beliefs and values are equally applied in the world of business, talent management and leadership. Jacqui’s vocation is centred upon performing at the top of her profession and working with individuals, partnerships, teams and corporations who strive to do the same. She has gained valuable insight into the drivers, and motivations of top performing people along with the behaviours that can enhance as well as derail peak performance. Having worked in key leadership roles inside large organisations, as well as an external consultant, Jacqui understands first hand, the complexity of today’s organisations and the resilience required by leaders to reach and sustain success and the speed at which they must operate. She is well versed in the opposing forces that must be navigated judiciously and the unique, politically challenging cultures that exist. Jacqui’s experience combines commercial credibility with intuition and empathy. This is underpinned by enduring relationships forged by trust, delivery and sustained results. She engenders trust early on, which in turn leads to quality conversations and measurable shifts in thinking, behaviour and performance.
